14 hemi drivetrain swap to 98 Dakota

Has anyone out there tried this yet?
I have a 14 hemi 8spd 4wd with auto I would love to swap this drivetrain into a 98 Dakota.
Dakota is currently a 318 auto and as strong as it is, I know that a hemi swap would make that ***** scream. Im looking for anyone that may have tried it already

That level of CAN bus might be too new to integrate into your Dak. Every successful Dak hemi swap I've seen used 03-05 engines and components since that PCI bus is only slightly removed from your Dakota. You can make the 8sp work fairly easily though it won't be cheap.
