1500 vs 2500 Front bumper changes

Hey guys, This is just curious on what the difference is between the 1500 front bumper and the 2500 front bumpers. I have a buddy trading his 08 mega cab off and he is offering to sell me his fab fours front bumper at a good deal. I am just curious on if I could make it fit my 1500.

If you know the part number and manufacturer maybe check their site for compatibility? I think the stock bumper mounts for the 1500 are different than the 2500 and 3500's.

Note: I believe the 1500 mega cab was built on a 2500 frame. Please chime in if this is wrong.

I did some research on this yesterday. And if I felt like doing some cutting and drillingni could make it work. The mounts on the frame are completely diffrent. Oh well worth a try. Yup the mega cab 1500 is on the 2500 frame.
