17 steering rack

ok so everywhere that sells a steering rack replacement is out of stock for my ram and its popping like crazy. Can i rebuild the thing? Is that an option or do I hope a junkyard piece will hold up. Seems like thats something i want new or reman.

My 2016 Ram eco-diesel
is beginning to sound like the Hydraulic does
at almost a full turn, there is a HUMMING sound
both right or left turn

I only have 4 1/2 months left on my Mopar Extended Warranty

Then get it to the dealer & let them fix it.

ive seen the lawsuit and searched but that dont help me. It clicks like a broke actuator. i see i can replace the belt and and seals but what about the motor or gears? Not afraid to tackle it in the least but i would need the parts. im way out of warranty.

Most of the issues stem back to a bad module. If you can open the module and check for bad or broken connections, that's where I'd start.
