Just got the Hurricane Sport Series in Forged Metallic Blue, it’s stressful to understand if it was the right choice… So many contradictory topics on Youtube, hope to get here right information about this new I6 Twin Turbo engine.
Also not a lot of info on the Sport trim series as it a Canadian only model…

Any comments on my first post to encourage, or discourage… would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Congrats on your new ride.

I hope it's one of the more trouble-free from 2026, and you get to enjoy it more than not.

If you search the threads, the search button is on the upper-right corner, and you can read some of the horror stories for the 2025-2026 model trucks.

The newer Atlantis High electrical architecture is proving to be imperfect for some users.

Some are great, others are a nightmare.

And, welcome.gif to Ram Forum.

Morning neighbor

Just keep in mind, most people don't tell you how they like something unless it is totally awesome or totally terrible

So for every 5 guys who are in love with their truck and want to move to Utah so they can marry it, and every t guys who hate it so much they want to light it on fire and drive it into the Chrysler building , for every 10 of those guys there are thousands of guys who have the exact same truck and are totally content with it

So don't worry too much about what you read or hear
What did Poe say again, believe only half of what you see and nothing of what you hear ?

It's a crap shoot. Mine was in service for 34 days before I got to take it home. A major wiring harness was crushed between the cab and the frame. Shorted out all kinds of components and replacing the wire was no picnic. NOW it drives like a dream and I could not be happier. How often does this happen, and do parts simply get replaced, never diagnosing the problem to a major wiring harness? Who can say?

:welcome: Still a 2026 RAM, just wrapped in a different trim level, maybe different groupings of options ordered, and appearance package. But in the end, still a truck with same basic things: Certain powerplant, lighting, wheels, colors, chrome/no chrome, BUT same trans.

Congrats on yer new ride.
