I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.9L it has been cutting out quite often while driving it seems to do it the most when on the freeway around 65-75 mph. I’ve changed plugs and wires also replaced the pickup (camshaft) sensor I am now getting a P1391 code coming up. Could it be that I don’t havefiring order correct? Or is it something different?

That code is related to the sensor, however, it could be a dirty/corroded connector or a short in the wire. Inspect the connector and wiring harnes for dirt, water, corrosion or worn insultation.

Thanks Maddog for the suggestion and I checked all connectors, wiring, ect. and is still sputtering now is getting worse is sputtering randomly no matter the distance or speed i reset codes and am no longer getting P1391 or any codes anymore put a fuel gauge on to see if starving for fuel the gauge is at about 60 when idling and about 58 when accelerated. when this first started happening was around a year ago but would only sputter after it rained and has just gotten worse after i changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor last month. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to hear them
