I have done a few retrofits in 2nd Gen Ram 2500/3500 Cummins trucks in the past, both manual and auto trucks, with no real issues at all; just plug-n-play.
So I gathered the parts and sent them to my brother-in-law in Texas. He has a 2001 1500 V6 manual transmission 2wd.
He installed everything (servo, cables, brackets, clockspring, steering wheel with buttons, etc..
His will not turn on, however. All fuses pertinent to the CC are good, but he gets nothing.
Anyone know of a gas manual v6 with working cruise? I am at a loss. I don't see anywhere that there's any coding involved, that I can find, and it's hard to troubleshoot issues with him, when I'm 1500 miles away.
I have a 2001 FSM, and we've checked wiring, etc., and it all seems correct.
Any help/guidance/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
