Hello all, been calling around some shops and they aren’t too sure and so can’t find a solution. Has anyone done a regear on a v6 1500 stock 3.21 to maybe 3.92 or 4.10.
This was originally a I don’t want a minivan mom car. Now I have been going Offroad with the kiddos so I have a lift and 35’s. I wanted to get back some power by regearing and getting a rear locker but not finding any info anywhere for a v6 1500 doe to the difference in axle from other models.

Guessing you are equipped with a ZF front axle?

Hunt up a local 4X4 shop, and talk to them.
Who's telling you, that you have differant axles from the other trucks.
Pretty well all 1500's after 2010 use a variant of the ZF axle front and rear.
The later 5th Gens can be had with an electric locker, but i think they still use the same ring and pinion gears

Probably the least expensive route will be to track down low mileage front differential assembly and a rear axle assembly from an automotive salvage yard.
This site might help: www.car-part.com

One of the local dealer said that the axles are different from the 1500 rebel which are HD than a big horn v6 axle. Which then they proceeded to tell me to reach out to an off road shop bc they can’t help me.

About the only differance is the Rebel's e-locker ,but they still use the same 235mm axle as far as i know.
I think your dealer might be confused, plus why are you asking them about the Rebels rear end when you have a Bighorn.
If your truck is a 4X4,you do realize you also have to swap the complete front diff, and your options are pretty limited in the front as you have 3.21 /3.55 and 3.92's as your stock options.
The aftermarket is starting to step up for differant ratio's for the front, but they don't have a great rep as of yet.
You could convert it back to the earlier AAM corporate front diff, and re-gear it but you're starting to really spend money
