2001 ram wont accelerate

I have a 01 ram with a 5.9 in it last week I got in the truck to drive off and it has no power takes forever to get to 55 mph I put new plugs, wires , cap and rotor but did not help .when I accelerate the intake is really loud also...any info would be great im lost on this one..

How are your catalytic converter(s)? The engine is an air pump. It sucks and blows and restrictions on either part will reduce performance.

Your intake is unusually loud? I'd start looking for a vacum leak.
