I have a 2003 ram 1500 im debating either an nv4500 swap or a 46re swap with a ratchet shifter. My question is what nv4500 transmission would I need for the swap? Does it have to be out of a 3rd gen gas truck? Or can it be out of any 4x4 diesel or gas with an nv4500? Also what kinda power can an nv4500 hold? I know chevy also has a few nv4500s in them would they be the same? I dont want to buy one and it not work because the input or output shaft or something is different
