2004 Dodge Ram 1500. Not sure what to do!

Not sure what to do now. There are so many things that I want to do to make my truck better than it is. The windows have tint on the front windows and back windows but the front and rear windows have nothing, so I thought about doing that and going as dark as I can.

I also want to put lights on the grill guard, put on a headache rack, folding tow mirrors, cab lights, cb radio, better and more aggressive tires.

Not sure what to tackle first. I dont know if I should go cheap first and get the stuff thats the least amount of money or just go big and go down from there.

Suggestions welcomed even if its not on the list. Just getting bored of the way she looks.

Hmm.. sounds like you have a good list goin! I say go big and get the tires! It would really set that truck off

Definitely go with some big ol tires. The rest of the list looks good. What about tinted tails/3rd brakelight. Or maybe smoked to match your bumpers (hard to tell their color in the pictures).

Yea, thats something I was lookin at as well. Maybe LEDs or just getting smoked covers so I can put them on or off as I please. I was lookin at RECONS website for blacked out stuff and LEDs but they are at a higher price than other places. But im sure they are a good quality.

I live in Illinois right now due to me being in the Air Force, but I will eventually make my way back to Montana. I have plenty of dirt roads to hit back at the farm and great offroading places in the mountains so tires are a must get for sure. I see a lot of people with X-terrains or Mickey thompsons. I havent had the chance to ask anyone what the best type of tire is for rocks, mud, fallen trees, etc. Anyone have opinions on tires?

Tint for sure, limo tint on the rear or match it to your side windows.

Recons are high quality for sure. Look into spyder, they make a good product that are a little cheaper if I remember correctly. But the cheapest way to do it is to get some nightshade and clearcoay rattle cans and tint them yourself, then you can get the exact amount of tint that you want. There are a couple of good DIY threads on here. It pretty easy.

has anyone ever looked at tractor lights vs offroad lights?

I know some of the tractors we got at the farm have way more visibility then some offroad lights so has anyone ever used those on their truck instead?

Ive owned KC lights before but trying to figure out what would be better.

also, i have been a huge fan on blacking out vehicles, but this time i have a blue one. Not sure if blacking out would still look good or if i should stick with chrome.
