This should be a quick and easy one. I have a 2004 Ram with the infinity premium factory speakers with a Kenwood Double Din Nav. When they installed it, they bypassed the stock amp for the system. Obviously after that it lost quite a bit of sound quality. Any suggestions on an aftermarket amp that is compatible with the new head unit and can do a comparable job as the old amp?

What'd that run? Any installation instructions. i'd like to keep the stock speakers. They werent bad with the amp to power them, but the built in amp on the unit just cant keep up.

I would upgrade the door speakers. If your already having to tap.into the speaker wire you might as well replace. The stock speakers don't sound as good with an aftermarket amp.... you can get that amp for under $150
Trust me, with the door speakers, dash speakers and amp it was under $300 and it sounds amazing!!!

I can vouch for his stereo. As a former certified installer, I was impressed with the way it sounds. The driver needs some help, but the stereo is sweet! :nutkick:

Are there any restrictions when it comes to upgrading the deck, if you have the premium infinity system,? I heard the infinity speakers won't work with any other amp and subwoofers?
