hello everyone, I'm new here, I have a 2005 2500 ram with a 5.7 hemi, my truck is in great shape , 42,000 on the tranny, 230,000 on the engine
I recently decided to have a Jasper long block installed , new muffler, cats, sensors, fuel rail, injectors , water pump, fuel pump ,
I blew a head gasket and was getting like 9-10 mpgs,
now with the new engine, its like 7-8 mpgs. The garage has a good reputation , they said they checked live data and cant find anything
they also said maybe its because everything is new and pumping great . i dont know it doesnt make sense to me
any ideas??

A rebuilt engine will loosen up after break in and give you better mileage.Im getting 13-15 on the road. Highway is higher.
