2005 dodge 3500 5.9 ECM problems

Will alpha obd2 flash my ecm on my 2005 dodge 3500 5.9 Cummins auto truck ? Does anybody know of any other programs or applications I could use to do such ? Also my truck has a late model 2004 ecm on it I’m assuming it’s from the factory. I bought the truck the guy told me it needed to be flashed that he couldn’t find no one to do it so here I am trying to figure it out. I’m new to the diesel world so any thing would help. I also have a 2006 ecm that came with the truck but still won’t start it. The truck also has a buzzing sound coming from the injection pump after you turn the key off anything about that would help as well.

AlfaOBD is not a tuner, it cannot flash a ECM. It's capability is also very limited on the older trucks like yours.

I wish you the best of luck, unfortunetly when someone sells something they could not fix it usually has a lot more issues then they ackowledge. You probably are going to have your hands full.

You might also want to try the diesel specific forums, this is mostly a gas focued forum.

AOBD is CAN only, you have PCI. It has zero capability. Don't try to use the newer PCM in the older truck. 06+ is CAN, 02-05 is PCI.
