2005 Ram 1500 gear indicator not working

I have a 2005 Ram 1500 ( Hemi 5.7) and the gear indicator is not working. Everything else works.. just not showing what it is in. Is it a bulb? Or something else wrong with the dash light?

Hope someone can help me fix this

Well when mine went out I couldn’t even shift or start the truck thought it was a million things ended up being I stretched my shift cable had to replace it. I would dare to say if everything works it’s a bulb or there may be a fuse out or short. I could think of a few other possibilities as well

Hey guys! New member here, I am having the same issue with my gear indicator light went out. Everything else works just fine, i just dont know where to begin on the fix. Bulb? It looks digital like the odometer. I attached a pic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Did someone ever give u an answer, I have the same problem, im trying to do some reason and I stumbled across this, so I had to register to find out your answer and im guessing you still didn't get an answer
