2005 Ram 1500 remote start

Hello all,
DO they make a remote start for the 2005 Ram1500 ,4.7 magnum? I've been searching online and can not find any info. If anyone has a lead on where to purchase one it would be greatly appreciated.

If you're willing to go aftermarket, and okay with splicing a few wires, there is lots of options out there. Quick search gave me this

As for OEM, I'm not sure remote start was even a factory option in '05. Could be wrong though

2005 was the first year remote start was available for the Ram, though I don't think it was factory installed. It's in the accessories portion of the 05 parts manual. Also all the parts are long discontinued so aftermarket is the only way to go.



A few years ago I barely managed to find the OEM parts to put it in my 06 Charger (took about 6 months of searching). Only takes a few years and they stop making certain things.
