I am trying to help out a friend with a 2005 Hemi 1500 that's stalling quite frequently, whether at a stop light or pulling into a parking space. Had to the dealer and local with no answers.
Other forums suggested getting the computer flashed, moisture in ABS sensor or transmission/torque converter replaced.
Anyone have this experience and what was done to correct it?

Does he notice if the lightning bolt in the lower right corner of the dash lights up before it cuts off?

Yes to the lightning bolt, his truck is out of warranty 82,026 miles.

I remember having a problem with my '03 Hemi 2500-if I stomped on it and lifted my foot it would stall. They flashed the computer and ran a ground wire from the TBI to the frame; but I don't think that's applicable to his.

Sounds like the TB is on the way out, the bolt it to show a fault or failure of the TB and will cut the power and kill the truck. I speak from experiance on that, going down the highway and your truck gets killed is non fun in traffic.

Like Kenneth said, it could be the TB is going out.

I had idle problems on my 2004. Truck would sometimes die in reverse. This TSB flash for 2004-2005 trucks fixed it: TSB 18-013-05 REV. A
