Hello all Dodge ram owners! I’m new to the forums. Hoping someone can help me out with this question? I know nothing about wheels. I have this 20in dodge ram wheel that has some side damage. Does anyone know if it’s okay to drive it like this? I did for about a week and nothing happened. I just bought the tires also wanted to get the use for them. Thank you!

I would check to make sure there is not a slow leak where the rim is damaged. But for the most part you should be OK. But I would call up some tire shops in your area and see if they have any pull off rims that ppl didnt want to keep when they put aftermarket rims on there trucks. Facebook is a good place to look for pull offs and local salvage yards.
Hope this helps.

You should get that checked out professionally. Too hard to tell from a picture how much damage is really there, but that is pretty significant from the picture. There could be a crack in the material, the seal of the rim to tire could be compromised and cause a problem at the worst time, or something else. Also, the balance is almost certainly impacted and can create problems for the bearings.

Better to replace then to have an unexpected failure ,use it for a spare.
