2008 vs 2016 Turbo

Will a turbo from a 2008 6.7 bolt on to a 2016 6.7?
As the wiring different between the two on the actuator?
Do they use the same actuator?

Given the turbo actuator actually communicates with the ECM via a data bus it won't make the jump in generation of trucks.
For your '16, turbos from '13-'18 will work. There is many aftermarket manufacturers that make plug-n-play turbos for these trucks.

I believe what you’re looking for is called a 2nd gen swap. Try Cummins forum. You’ll find a lot more information on how to do this.

No, not looking for the 2nd gen swap.
Just wanted to know if a 2008 (HE351VE) turbo will bolt on to a 2016.
I believe the actuators are interchangeable w/ the use of a cross-over cable.
