Hi All hope somebody can give me some hints. As I am in the UK going to the dealer is not an option.lues
So let me talk through what happens. Car will lock unlock easily with remote so as understand wireless ignition node is good?

Key put in says "key inserted" so key is recognised? Next turn key anti theft light begins to flash and the ESC light illuminates and stays on.

Now within the Display mode "Park assist system off" comes up as does the red battery symbol. Gauge shows 3/4 for battery and when checked is around 12.7 - 12.8 Volts.

There is no Gear selector position shown . The gear shift is locked , pressing brake does not release it.
The engine does not turn over or make any attempt. to.

If I try remote start it says malfunction.

When I return key to off position it tells me key still in. Does this mean the key is being detected and so the memory has not been lost and the immobiliser circuit is recognising it as the correct key?
It does this with both my keys.
Thoughts?

Thanks for any help

Well your last sentence took my idea away. Had the same problem with a Chevy, tried other key and it worked fine. Something about the chip in the key going bad and the truck not recognizing it.
