2011 Ram Drive Symbol Light Not Lit When In Park [D]

i have just noticed that when my truck is in Park, the Drive symbol [D] is NOT lit. maybe this has always been the case and am just now noticing it, but i don't think so. sometimes you take things for granted.

when i move the shifter to Drive, the symbol DOES light.

any thoughts? go get glasses . get a better memory . something else?

If it turns green when in drive, I would bet it's a burnt out white LED.

someone else said this as well. do you know what it would take to fix it, i.e., what i would need to replace, and whether there is any reliable aftermarket part? i assume one cannot replace just the single burnt out led, but not sure. thank you.

Dash LED's are non serviceable normally. Perhaps someone really good at it can fix it, but they are few and far apart.
