2010 Touchscreen Replacements

So, can you put any double din head unit in these slots? Do they require mounting adapters or do they bolt right in? I'm getting sick of my uConnect system being buggy and lookin' like something from the 90's.

It isn't a true double din space, but you can fit a double din like many others have. I believe you need to trim the plastic a little and possibly the metal piece in the back of the opening.
