welcome to rf, so if i read that right you are looking to level plus add a 3" body lift. If that's correct a 35" tire will look great imo

I put a Rough Country 2.5" leveling lift kit with a 3" Performance Accessories body lift. I got 35x12.5 tires on my factory rims but I had to use wheel spacers. I've heard people saying that when they put the spacers on the rear, that come with the Rough country kit, that it isn't level, but mine is. Both kits are very inexpensive and combined give you a pretty decent amount of lift.

I agree. Sounds like a good combo!

I think you could get away with a 2" spacer upfront and fit 35s.
The 3" BL would be just for the height, not really needed.

Welcome to the forum! Everyone has their different preferences as to which kits are the best. I personally have the 2.5" Rough Country kit as well and I love it. Their website it pretty good, lots of options. I know a lot of guys run that leveling kit and then get a body lift done...just like Soldier above me^^^

Hey not to burst your bubble, but the Rough Country Kit is only for 4wd. I know everyone was saying that's a good kit (which it is) but it won't fit your truck. I have a 2wd and I did a 2.5 level in the front a 1" in the rear and a 1.25 Rough Country Body lift. For me that worked well. Some 2wd options for you are going to be something like this:

http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/dodge-ram-1500-2-front-leveling-kit-2wd-2006-present-p6506.aspx

For body lift, like I said Rough Country makes a good kit. Zone makes a 1.5" BL, then you have the 3" by performance accessories:

Performance Accessories 3" Body lift 09-12 Ram 1500 2/4WD

Anyway hope that helps.

Also as far as tires, I'm assuming you have the V6, 35's might be a little much for that engine. I'm not sure just on observation. You'll also want to consider gears. What gear ratio is your truck? 33's might be a better option. There will be soooo many different opinions with tires. I would suggest any of the number of Mud Terrains (Nitto Trail Grappler, toyo MT, Goodyears, General grabber- which is what I have, etc.)
