Even with the BD set on premium, tracking control off, tow mode on, my truck is a dog off the line. BD has the 019 download. It use to bark the tires in second now it won't even do that...
Any thoughts?

On a good day from a standstill and stomp on it, I'm lucky if I get a chirp.
Have the 3.55's open diff.
With these HP and Torque ratings that Dodge has put out, I should be roasting the tires. My old Ford f150 with 250hp and 350 ft-lbs o torque would smokem.
Is it the Torque Management? if so, that's BS. We need to find out how to shut it off.
That's when I'll spend the money on a tuner.

Really? I didn't think any of the tuners had learnt how to disable the TM yet.

Still should he has a mild converter and 4.10's....disconnect the battery, reset it, go out and play see what it does.

Ill try that, every once and a while something will catch just right if I'm rolling at 5-15 MPH but it's been a dog off the line since I bought it.

Does the Vararam and 87mm help that much, I'd be sick if I spent another $700 and still can't light them up...

But he has a bully dog then he's gonna have to sell that one and buy a new one unless they offer custom tuning now

Spinning tires = loss of traction
What are we aiming for here?

It should, I dont think a CAI or TB is gonna help that, maybe a betetr converter like the Edge, yours with low mileage alone shoudl eb worth decent money.

If you are looking for off the line power, then nothing is going to show better gains than a new tq converter. The intake and TB will make more power, but they are not going to give you a huge kick off the line like a new tq converter would.

Not sure I'd **** away my factory power train warranty just to be able to do a burnout. Especially by replacing the TC. Last thing I want to do is give them any reason to deny warranty should the trans take a dump. Not like that happens. lol :emotions33:

That's why its a good thing Edge uses factory cores and only replaces the internals ;)

The dealership would have to cut the converter open to see that it wasn't stock. Also, if installed properly, these transmissions are solid. The only failures I know of on the 4th gens are from guys that received bad custom tuning or the guys with boost.

The factory stall speed on the RT is a 2600. The problem is that it is still junk when compared to an Edge 2600. We have about 6-7 customers already with RT's that have replaced the stock converter with an Edge 2600, and the gains are night and day better with the Edge, even with the same stall speed. Stall speed is only a small part of what makes the aftermarket converters perform so much better than stock.
