2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn

I just bought a camper and after the brake controller was installed and the camper plugged into the hitch, the camper brakes automatically activated and I couldn't bring the camper back home.

Does anyone here know why, and a solution to the issue?

Possible wiring issue. Could be as simple as switching the brake wire and 12v wire on your trailer plug.
