I couldn’t find anything to help me when searching. I have an issue with my fuel pump not turning on. 2014 5.7 2500. I have put the tipm in another truck after jumping around the relay with no success and it ran fine so I’m ruling that out. I found a spot on the harness where someone cut through the coating of the power supply and it corroded. It also wore through the coating of the ground in the same spot. Right in front of the tank. I fixed both of these and still nothing. So I dropped the tank, had power to the plug, so I replaced the fuel pump. Still nothing. I even spliced into the wires where I fixed them right in front of the fuel tank and jumped direct power and ground, the pump still does not turn on. I seen four wires coming from the plug to the pump I assumed the small ones were both for the fuel level sensor but now reading one is a signal ground to the ecu. Could this be my problem? I’m stumped

So I realized I had my old pump to check this and seen that the two other wires only go to the fuel level sensor. Is it a chance that I got a lemon fuel pump that I put in? My old fuel pump will not turn on in a bench test. Is there any possibility that I have something in my system that shorted out the old and new fuel pump instantly?

Not sure if you already have a wiring diagram or not. If not, I hope this helps.
