Greetings everyone! I find myself in the market for a truck but unfortunately don't know much about them. Yesterday we test drove a 2014 Ram 1500 with a Hemi 5.7L V8 with just over 100k miles. It seemed very clean and drove fine, but we noticed some rust at the bottom of the door frame when you open it. Do any of the knowledgeable people here know if that is a concern? I'm not that concerned about the aesthetics, but of course would rather not have the frame rusting away or anything! Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

With the prices vehicles are commanding these days I wouldn't buy anything with visible rust.

Looks like surface rust from bad door seal? Probably just sand it off and touch up.
