Just bump your idle speed to 750rpm, :head3:
How does one do this? I'm kinda wary of using any tunes but then again i'm outside the warranty period. Just wonder, how does the transmission react when going from park to D with 750 idle rpm.

You need to have the PCM unlocked if it is 2015 or newer. Diablo has a tuner… I was also considering this route along with disabling MDS. I have heard some believe disabling MDS could reduce oiling on the top end so I’m not sure… I already have a Diablo intune i3 I used for my Tahoe…

I was considering switching to PUP to help prolong the engine life. when I check the oil, it looks pretty clean. just not sure if the benefits outweigh the risks.
Chances are the PUP will prolong a healthy OCI, not the engine life. Perhaps you will save some money.
Use with confidence, engines don't "get used" to certain oils. No additives are needed.

If the tick goes away when the engine gets up to operating temp, it’s likely an exhaust leak. If not, use Seafoam. My local shop says Seafoam is the only thing that actually does what it promises. Put a quart in with the oil and lifter noise should stop. If not, you may be in for lifter/cam problems.

Are you aware that Seafoam contains between 35% & 55% Naphtha & Alcohol?

Yeah, Seafoam doesn’t seem like a great plan.

Seems like everyone likes lubetech

Was considering PUP 5w20 and a Fram ultra synthetic filter. Sounds like lubeguard would be a good idea too
Put in some full synthetic and a bottle of Z Max. I have been using it for years. It is some really good stuff. Do some reading on it,you’ll like what it says.
