I was wondering if anybody knew where I can find an inner fender liner headlamp access panel for my truck? 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Thanks

Yes I meant where can I purchase the part :D. It was pretty easy taking everything apart I’ve got that down. I had to take both the panels off to get to the headlights and let’s just say one of them got misplaced and found it with the lawn mower the next day haha. But I can’t find the part anywhere online it’s like they don’t exist. So if anyone has a part number or a link that would be great! Thanks

I only went to one Mopar parts site but from what saw, it doesn’t look like they sell that little access panel separately... looks like you’d have to buy the whole inner fender well, or try your luck at a salvage yard.

Or depending on how creative you are and whether or not you had a heat gun, I’d run down to Walmart and get you one of those cheap, flexible, black plastic notebook binders and use that to make you one since that’s what it looks like those plastic inner fenders are made out of. Not sure if that stuff would stay where you formed it after it cooled or not, though.... it’s sure worth a try.

cut out a chunk of a fender flap or black vinyl door mat from walmart. probably wouldn't need a heat gun either.

I feel like the "pots" that plants come in at Home Depot, Lowes, etc have a similar plastic thickness and feel....can probably snag those for free and cut away!

sure..that too. if a guy thinks about it there's lots of things that could work. they seem to me to be pretty flexible flaps though. i haven't opened mine, yet. but does it swing away? or kind of flip up? that would decide the material for me. (actually it looks to me thinking about it like the top flips up with a tab within a slot, kind of a poor man's hinge? if so, flexibility is not a big deal i guess. you can get a duplo or whatever the company is called flat black vinyl paint which probably works pretty well for this. or just keep em dirty. lol.

The inner fender material is absolute junk it’s like they really did go to Home Depot and melted down a whole bunch of plastic plant pots together and slapped it on the truck. My only complaint about my dodge so far. I’ll probably ride without it for a bit then go to a junk yard to see if they have one or replace the fender liner if they have any better options out there. But in the meantime if anybody knows where I can get one let me know!

UPDATE: there are some cheap replicas of the fender liners on amazon that are 20$ a pop that have the same headlamp access flap. So if worst comes to worst you can order the cheap liner and just take the flap off and use it on the OEM one on your truck.
