he wrote "do not want it obnoxiously loud"

The carven might sound real good, but it's loud.

I guess it depends on how people define the term "obnoxious". I have the progressive on mine, it is quieter than a 40 series Flomaster.

I was actualky looking at the 40's series , but hard to tell from hearing it on you tube . My buddy has the flowmaster outlaw . That in my opinion is obnoxious , just to give you guys my opinion .

Outlaw is a 10 series I believe. I have that on one truck and it's loud. I have 40 series on challenger and get compliments on it all the time. Not to loud unless the mds kicks on then you get a lil bit of drone

Magnaflow 18 inch deep and mellow did drone, glasspack loud and raspy droned, pypes violator bolt in kit good sound minimal drone, pypes m80 loud droned in 4 cylinder, black widow widownaker loud not much drone, and gibson mwa deep and loud, some drone when lugging but not really noticable on the freeway.

That's exactly what I'm looking for , nice tone under normal driving . I completely understand when you really get on it its going be much louder and that's fine .

22" Magnaflow with 5" tips. Nice and mellow on the highway, but under acceleration it is noticeably louder than stock. Not a raspy sound at all but I think that has more to do with the tips than the muffler itself.

Solo Exhaust Delete is the best way to get the sound your looking for. Nick@gotexhaust is the man you want to talk to. He’s also a preferred vender on here. Solo is the way to go.

Just put a 22" Magnaflow on mine and it gives you that deep growl. Haven't changed anything else yet but planning to go to 4" tips and delete the resonators.

Take a listen to the Corsa. Had for almost a year now and still love it.

I honestly think you need to hear exhausts/mufflers in person to really get a sense of what they actually sound like.
Listening to YouTube videos doesn’t quite do it. I chose my muffler that way. I ended up with a borla 40085. Videos were deceiving though. It ended up being quite a bit louder than I expected it to be from listening to sound clips. I do love it though. It’s nice, deep and has a sporty tone to it as well. It can be a bit loud in stop and go but really nice at cruising speed with little to no drone.
It’s also hard to just ask people what they think sounds good as it’s very objective. What sounds good to one guy maybe be too loud for the next and so on. So again I think the best way to do it is to try and listen and hear these exhausts in person. I know it’s not the easiest thing to do but I’m sure there are trucks in your area with exhaust work. Even if it’s not the exact same truck as yours the sound from one V8 to the next will be very similar.
I have hear borla, magnaflow, flowmaster and mbrp in person. I gotta say borla (not just cuz I have one) has a really deep tone and exhaust note that I haven’t heard from any of the others. In my opinion borla > mbrp > magnaflow > flowmaster

Are you looking for a muffler kit or full cat back? Check out the options for solo Performance if you want something not too loud. Corsa also is tame while cruising.

If you find something you like message me and I can quote you with a discount.

I reccomend the 14” magnaflow. Its not raspy like the carven, and its not too loud. Nice and mellow cruising, and loud at full throttle.
