I own a 2014 Ram 2500 and am thinking about trading for new 2015 2500 Laramie. Was looking at them this afternoon and saw that the ignition switch is push button. On my 2014 where you must use the key fob in the ignition switch, you have the auxiliary position where you can run electronics and such inside the truck without starting the vehicle. Is this not possible with the pushbutton switch in2015s?

I cannot say for certain how it's done in the Ram trucks, however with many other vehicles with pushbutton start, you must step on the brake pedal while pressing the button to start the engine. Aux is usually available by pressing the button but not brake pedal. In cars such as my wife's BMW, additional functions are available by pressing the start button more than once in quick succession (and not pressing the brake pedal).

What Cherry said is correct. Don't apply the brake. Just press the button and it will go to accessory mode.
