2015 Ram 1500 Sport (Seats Bubbling/Warping

Hey guys I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Sport bought brand new. At 30,000kms I started noticing that the the front driver and passenger seats are starting to bubble. Seems like the leather has expanded/stretched. I called the dealership and Chrysler Canada to get it fixed but they rejected it stating it is because of an "external defect". I asked them what do you mean by that and they said you guys must have put heavy objects on the seats. So now I am not sure exactly what to do. Any thoughts!!??

cant say i disagree with them not warrantying it based on that picture.

if the seat foam underneath isnt deformed you should just be able to order a seat skin. or take it to an upholstery shop to see if they can match it or maybe even fix it.

If you have a fabric steamer. Hit it with that. It'll layback down.

most likely from your wallet in your back pocket. Go to another dealer i had this happen to my 2013 and it was replaced under warranty

i would say its caused by a big wallet, or maybe you have a boney ass?

Same thing happened to my 09. I had front front seat covers replaced before basic 3/36 was up.

As others stated, try different dealers until one treats you right and fixes it.

do a google or forum search ( here and any other ram truck forum ) and show them all the other people on the web who have complained about and had their leather replaced due to things like this happening. You are not the only one who has had their leather distort or wear extremely poorly prematurely
