2017 1500 window brow

hey guys I’ve been looking into getting a tint window brow. Around my rear view mirror it has black type stuff on the windshield then little dots across the top. I know I sound dumb, but I’m not sure what to call it. Will the tint stick to this or is there something else I need to do? Thanks.

I have a brow on my as well, its done in 5% can't even see those dots from the outside.

As someone who’s had quite a few windows replaced, and just for the sake of sharing knowledge, that, in the glass industry, is called a third visor.
