2017 ram 1500 5.7 crank no start

So the story is drive it as a daily no problem parked it went on vacation for 3 weeks tried to start it crank no start swap part with my other ram but still no start

Overall engines are simple at heart. Need fuel, spark, and compression.

You have verified compression, so one of the others is missing.

Can you crank the engine over and have someone verify spark? Otherwise squirt a little gas down the throttle body and see if it fires.

If spark is bad, then you have some electronics to chase down. If no fuel, check pressure on the rail, fuel pump, etc.

Having compression #s that low, in conjunction with the "out of sync" message on your scan tool:

Gives the impression that your timing chain tensioner may be damaged and the timing chain possibly jumped a tooth. Or possibly an issue with the cam phaser's VVT solenoid, or the oil pressure is too low to operates the cam phaser.



What was the idle oil pressure when this engine was running?

So I check the compression again on the same one I post the picture I realized im getting 120 and 30 after

I'm not certain what this means?

120psi on one cylinder and 30psi on another cylinder? With the throttle blade wide open?

Considering all the above diagnosis, have looked at the immobilizer system as been faulty. One of these components ( PCM, EVIC, or Ignition switch) might not want to play nicely with the others.
