I recently upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. When I first paired it to my truck it asked for permission to access my contacts. The request lasted for a few seconds. By the time I unlocked the phone to grant that the request disappeared. now when it connects the "phonebook" is greyed and I don't see anyway to allow access now. Anyone come across this?

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think of checking the phone for an app since it was a Bluetooth connection. I did that then when I got in the truck I went to the phone app on the radio. It started connecting. Said it was downloading the phone book. The phone book button was still grayed out. Maybe I'll try deleting the phone then pair it again

My old LG V20 phone worked fine with this so I know it's not the radio and this galaxy phone works in my wife's '19 Rav 4 just fine.

As mentioned above after setting permissions in U-Connect app, when first starting my truck the uconnect said downloading phonebook but never did download it so I deleted the phone then paired it again. That worked, phone book did download.
