2017 Ram tow mirrors

Hello everyone. I have a 2017 Ram 2500. It has the regular non towing mirrors on it. They are heated and power glass but don’t have the turn signals or puddle lamps in them. I want to upgrade to towing mirrors and all I can find are the ones with turn signals and puddle lamps that are heated. I wondered if any of you guys knew if I got a set with the turn signals in them would they work? It has the plug in in the module for the extra plug that is on the heated signal puddle lamp mirrors but I just want to know they will work on my truck before I went ahead and bought a set. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated

I can't answer that but check the Trail Ridge mirrors at 1A Auto. Me and my son both bought ours there. They may have the ones that match your options. If you are wanting the upgraded options on them then you may need to replace the modules and have the PCM flashed but I can't answer that for sure. Someone should be along to answer that.

I bought tow mirrors from A1. They fit great, look great. Only problem is the turn signal on the passenger side intermittently flashes very fast, but only on the mirror itself. A1 thinks it is because my truck has the memory function. Any thoughts? it is just a little annoying, but I worry there could be future electrical problems.

I had the same scenario on my 2016. I ordered towing mirrors with puddle lights and turn signals from Parts Geek (Part #: 966-011+966-012). Think I paid around $250 for the pair. Plugged right in to my existing modules in each door. I did have the dealer program my truck and the blinkers and puddle lights work great. Dealer said there's no guarantee the truck will accept the reprogramming but it did with no issues. The dealer reprogram was like $165.

what does it cost to download the alfaOBD software & buy the OBDLINK & the bypass pigtail

To do your programming to make the mirrors do all the tricks & a lot more
