2017 Stripped front shock bolt HELP!!

I am swapping out my front shocks for bilstein 5100. My passenger side I go off no problem and put the shock back together. The driver side shock bolt that needs to be held while loosing the lock nut os stripped. It was pretty round already from rust but now it's even worse.

What option do I have to get this lock nut off.

vise grips or grinder clamp the shaft and use another pair of vise grips

Heat the nut to cherry red with an acetylene torch then go after it with a couple vise grips.

Lol, both of mine were ultra rusted. 30 seconds with a cut off wheel changed their attitude.
