2019 Dodge Ram adding remote start and others

Looking to add remote start, keyless entry, and possibly tailgate lowering. I have a 2019 Dodge Ram classic with 5.7 tradesman crew 4wd automatic, and it has power door locks. What steps do I need to take to get remote start and keyless entry? I’m thinking I do them in steps but I want to buy a key fob that will work with everything I eventually want to add. I know i don’t have the wire that goes to the hood latch. But really just need guidance and part numbers to order. I was planning on using obdlinkmax+ and alphaobd to program keys and features but never done anything like this before but I’m a fast leaner.

This should be the same thing you need. Mine arrives Wednesday, I’ll probably install it over the weekend. I’ll try to document everything. I have a write up printed on my work desk and a link saved on that. I’ll grab it tomorrow and share it here, I found it on here somewhere but I can’t find it again.
I plan to follow the walk through 100% and I plan on doing all the programming through Alfa. Let’s hope I don’t end up towing my truck to a dealer

I added remote start to my 2017 Tradesman. I bought the hood latch with the safety switch online for $37 and new key fob case with correct markings $12 for 2 then my son and I programed the computer ourselves. Dealer wanted $500 labor plus parts. Even never doing it before I don't think it took an hour total. If you do it yourself after programing it you must drive the truck before it will remote start. It will not crank the first time you try but after driving and shutting off it will crank with the remote.

Your truck is probably mostly pre wired for remote start and you don’t need to spend 300$ on the kit. @DoughRat19 has a 19 classic and would know more than me.

I ended up doing this, my truck was not pre-wired for remote start but was able to install everything without any type of issue.

that's the full blown walkthrough as if you were going to replace the Wireless ignition Module.
Mine was very simple, Replace hood-latch with new hood-latch. run the wire from hood latch to PIN11 ( mine had something plugged into Pin11 i just unplugged it) then everything else was done from Alfaodb.
