C7ECDF77-2245-4B8D-BA8D-5A33563A8018.jpeg I just bought a 2019 1500 Laramie Sport Crew 4WD w/22” rims... After reading this thread I am still not sure which way to go on a leveling kit…2”, 2-1/2” or 3”? Why the different options? Which one actually levels the truck? Do I really need the kit with control arms or not?

My last truck was a 2014 1500 LoneStar Crew 4WD and I had just the 2” spacer type leveling kit and never had issues with ball joints. I am considering the 2-1/2” this time and curious if the extra 1/2” will make the difference on needing the control arms.

Exactly like my truck except mine has the Ram/1500 decals blacked out too. I'm looking into leveling and tire upgrades but can't decide which way I want to go since these 22" wheels are throwing me off when it comes to tires. My last truck was 2016 Laramie 4x4, leveled with 305/55r20 and loved the way it looked and trying to recreate it, any suggestions?

Someone posted another one on here and minus the wheels it’s what I would expect mine to look like.43ca00a14c4b094ff9b580d4acaf5bc1.jpg
I just purchased a graphite grey and this is the look I’m going for. What is your suspension set up and wheel sizes?

Might be off topic but I have an 09 1500 2wd with the maxtrax 7” lift 7 in the front 4.5 in the rear. I run stock20’s on 35 12.5’s and I’m upgrading to 22x12’s with a -51 offset plan on going with the same size tire. Will I rub with the new set up? If so can I fix with a body lift and if so how much more do I need to clear?

Thanks in advance

Has anyone installed the ready lift 2” level kit with tubular UCAs (66-1921) on a 2019 2WD?

It looks like it should work but I can’t find it written anywhere.

From my understanding there is no difference in the 4wd vs 2wd as far as that. :)

My understanding as well but I’m hoping someone who has done it can confirm before I order.

It will work just fine. I used it but have a 4wd so I can't personally confirm with my own eyes, but plenty of others here and on other forums have used it and other 4wd kits on 2wd without issue. The control arms and strut assembly are identical on 2wd and 4wd for the 2019s.

Hey Guys. GMC owner that’s looking to get back into a dodge! Looking at limited and just want to level and add bigger tires. I assume a guy has to stay away from air suspension to level? Or what’s the best way to do this and maintain a nice ride? Thanks!

They have links that folks are using to level with air ride. Only time will tell if that works out to be a good thing. Any particular reason why a Limited ? :)

I’m looking at Laramie also. Is there anything you get get in a Laramie? The sports appearance package with Laramie looks pretty nice!

I just today traded in my 19 2WD Limited I bought in June for a Laramie. Part of it was because I wanted 4WD but also because I wanted a little more aggressive looking truck. Worked the Mopar 2 inch Lift and 35 inch Toyo M/Ts into the deal along with the Power Side Steps.

So my question, will I be able to add any type of level after the 2inch kit is installed to remove the rake and bring the front end up a bit?

truck2.jpg truck3.jpg Here's my Laramie Sport with a 2" leveling kit and 33s.
Wife said she couldn't tell the difference.
Then she tried to climb in.
Now I'm getting tube steps LOL....

Lmao. Same thing here. Wife couldn't hardly tell until she jumped in. Then watching my son climb in was pure gold. I'm upgrading to the 3.5" Readylift. It is sitting in the garage waiting to go on. I'm sure it will be the same story again.

We should have just traded. [emoji1787]

You probably already know but the only options I have seen for the 5th Gen Air Suspension are leveling links (Revel has them) and Rough Country came out with a 5 inch Lift just recently.

Regarding the links I chose to steer clear because as I understand it there basically just tricked the truck so that Regular mode was more like OR1 or OR2 depending on how much you adjust them. I couldn’t even stand to go over the speed bumps in my neighborhood on OR1 or 2 it was so stiff. And the 5inch Lift was apparently not an option because I had 2WD and from Rough Country support it would not work. 4WD only.
