Got an email from Kicker touting the release of their 2020 line of speakers, specifically the KS series. I added the 180.4 Key Amp (running bi-amped) last summer and I'm looking to upgrade the stock speakers this summer. Problem is that Crutchfield say they won't fit my '14.

I looked at the specs and don't see any differences listed in the specs from previous years that would cause them to not fit. In fact, the new lineup is a hair smaller in some respects. Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, they are way more shallow than previous years, they are similar to the depth of the CSC, but with a smoother, sometimes silk domes tweeters. Im waiting myself for the 6x9 components to release!

But what about the fitment? I'm looking to get the 3.5 and 6x9? Any insider info, is Crutchfield wrong?

No "wrong", they just released like 2 weeks ago, so they may have not test fit them yet, but I will let their Regional know to let them know....they will fit betetr than the older 44 models, and be way smoother than previous. They will fit.
