2021 OEM steps on a 2018?

I need to replace the right OEM step/running board on my 2018 1500 Crew Cab (was damaged in a parking lot accident). I have located a pair up on FB marketplace that the seller took off of their 2021 1500 crew cab and they look identical, but the mounting brackets are different.
Does anyone know if the OEM steps from a 2021 will fit on a 2018?

You answered your own question. If the mounting brackets are different they won't fit without modifying the mounting brackets.
