Finally got another Ram last night. After trading in my old Ram for a Suburban I got tired of not having a truck. I bugged my wife for about 6 months and yesterday she says “Hey, Eric from the dealership called, did you want to go look at a truck?” “Hell yes I do!”

I found one I wanted online on the way over, he had it brought over from another dealership and off we went. It’s pretty damn awesome, Hemi, Crew Cab, 4WD, Black (most important), Apple Play, ETourque...awesome. Plus there was a $10,000 rebate on a 2021.

Next up are running boards, I’m short and getting the kid in his car seat is a pain in the ass, bedcover, bedliner, rain guards and eventually a level, with bigger tires.

Super excited.

Just out of curiosity, anyone know what’s the biggest tire I can fit on the stock 18” wheels without any suspension mods? I’ll probably level it out eventually but I kinda like the stance it has now, the rake doesn’t bother me near as much as it did on my Gen 4. And does anyone else find the stock speakers a bit lacking?

Swap out the dash speakers, can get decent ones starting around 40 for the pair. 5 min job and does wonders.

Congrats on the new truck. I would recommend waiting until you level to move up in tire size. What you can fit now will look small when you level. It’s best to level the 5th gens new too once they hit 10k miles we’ve been having issues with the top strut bolt rusting itself on. (Adds labor to your easy level install)

Ill try that. I was probably gonna swap all of them at some point. I was also thinking about fitting a sub under the rear seat. I don’t want to replace the head unit though.

Thanks for the tip. When the hell is that next stimulus check coming?!

I thought we were supposed to start getting all our free **** soon. What the hell?

Would I be able to fit 33”s on 20 inch rims with bilstiens leveling out the front?

Congrats! Looks nice. Do those $10k rebates include dealer discounts?

Also, I'm new here and don't know what "level" means re: a new truck. Is it really necessary? Looking to buy a new 2021 RAM 1500 as well.

Surprised they didn't give you some of that stuff. I made sure I had the running boards or I wife and I would have a hard time getting in the truck :D

No, that was the factory rebate, got some more off after that. Can’t remember exactly how much. And by “level” is just means to raise the front of the truck up a couple inches so it’s even with the back. Park on a flat surface and stand 15’ back, you’ll see that the truck is lower in the front, so when you’re towing or load up the bed the front isn’t higher than the back. It’s an aesthetic thing to me, I don’t tow anything or load up the bed of my truck with anything more than Home Depot runs. It’ll also let me run bigger tires than stock without rubbing.

After the price on the truck and the good deal they gave me in my trade in I was all right with taking care of that stuff on my own.

Just means lift the front end up bit "level"the vehicle..alot don't like the ass end sticking up way higher than the front
