I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie, continues to have a dust problem in the cab. Brought back to dealership last year, per the dealership, they fixed supposedly to Chrysler recommendations. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. Brought back to dealership, they contacted Chrysler and they advised they can't do any more to fix the issue. Has anyone else had this same dust issue?
Thanks

What would they even do to fix a dust issue? Is your cabin air filter missing?

In real dusty conditions, run your AC on recirculate, that way you aren't pulling dusty oputside air into the cab. The cabin filters can only filter dust to a certain size, the carbon versions are better for real fine dust. Also, run your fan on at least 4 so you have positive pressure in the cab. No matter how well built, the fine dust does get into the cab.

Per the dealership, they took the back seat out and got to the vent in the back wall of cab. This vent is for when closing the door the doors close easily. They filled in the gaps around the vent. They said there were 1" gaps they needed to fill. But, this didn't fix the problem. Chrysler doesn't know what to do about the issue.

Dealership advised us to do this after the 1st time we brought it in for this issue. Didn't make a difference. My wife drives Fords and Chevy pickups at work on gravel roads all day long and they get absolutely minimal dust in cab. This Ram is 10x worse. The dealership is going to contact higher ups with Chrysler and see what to do if anything.

If you are getting a ton of dust through the cab vents it definitely sounds like there is an issue. Hope they get it fixed for you.

Search out a competent dealer service department. You may have to try several different ones but maybe you’ll get lucky and find a good one.
