Well hell knock on wood I've had no issues with my dpf it regens when it needs to.
I'm one those that does have the truck idling often, at times when I know I'll be over 10-15 minutes of idleing I will bump the idle rpm up higher.
If I run into town for something minor it will be 8-15 mile trip on rural roads, max 55 mph some of it less, then 5-15 minutes idling it it'shot for the AC or if it's cold for the heat.
