2023 Limited 1500-weak horn

Hey everyone. I know its a real first-world problem, but I just bought. Ram 1500 Limited and the horn is very puny. Its not the same issue as those that have gotten water in the horn; it’s just stock option is weak. It sounds like it belongs in a Camry.

I dont know that I need to go with a train horn, but Im not seeing a better Mopar option. Anyone have any suggestions on what you’ve done?

I added a Stebel Nautilus Compact Air Horn, it really gets the attention of people around you even with it mounted behind my headlight. I wired the relay for the a horn to the factory horn.

I actually dislike the volume of my 2016 Eco-diesel horn

If you are coming up on a bicyclist, you are suppose to inform them that you intend to pass. the horn should not scare the hell out of them.

do you have to remove the wheel well skirt to get to the horn wiring?

It doesn't have to be completely removed, it can be flexed out of the way.
