I have 600 miles on this new truck and have 4 issues already. 1. Dashboard went completely dark while driving. Stopped the truck. Turned off the engine and turn it back on, still no dashboard, no blinker indicator, nothing. Truck would not go into gear. Turned engine off again, then it went into gear. Drove to dealership. They asked me if I had an appointment and they are 72 hours out. Unbelievable. They are ordering a Cluster Panel that takes 7-10 days to get shipped to dealership. 2) Vibration on front right of engine when stepping on the gas, but it goes away at about 1500 RPMs. It's constant and annoying. 3) Chug-a-lug, hesitation, when at stop signs and then accelerating. No smooth power in the acceleration, but only when getting going. It's like the computer doesn't understand what I want the vehicle to do yet. When I step on the gas, I know what I want it to do, but some engineer decided to remove that control from me. 4. Air conditioning occasionally puts out moist air and is about 10 degrees warmer air, it's not the crisp cool air you'd expect. I've been driving for 50 years. It's not normal. Again, it's like some engineer thought a new system would be better. STOP RECREATING THE WHEEL! I take long trips. I don't trust this vehicle to make it. Now what?

Your warranty is your friend. Take it to the dealer and make it their problem. Also, read up on lemon laws for your state. Hopefully it won't rise to that but it's good to be well versed in what the requirements are, document everything.

sell it now!
^^ DITTO ^^

1) Or try and get it repaired and upgraded to your satisfaction
2) Sell and find a pre-covid used RAM without E torque hopefully in decent shape and decent miles
3) Sell and get U a new indestructible Cheby with the 6.2L motor (sic)
4) Sell and get U a Ford with the Purty tranny.
5) Sell and get a New Ford with the 7.3L Monster old time push rod beast.

ABOVE all being facetious. U can either go and try and get it squared away/fixed to your satisfaction, keep it and be annoyed, etc, or sell and hope and find something else that you will enjoy and be happy with. Not many other real choices as all the Major Brands Having Big Issues.

ADDED: That's why I am keeping my 2019, have gotten most of the major issues fixed: Leaking rear window, CHMSL leak, safety recalls,., etc.

Give them a chance to fix it, if they get it right, I think you will be happy.

I got my 2025 BigHorn SST in early July, at about 6000 miles now, and I could not be happier. I have been a bit lucky I think, no major issues. I did get a blue screen when going into reverse twice, restarting the truck fixed that. Other than that issue, it has been fine.

Smoother, quieter, more refined, more powerful, better mileage, no mess oil change compared to my 2017 HEMI BigHorn. Lets hope it stays that way.

I think you need to give the dealer a shot at fixing it. Almost any other approach is bound to cost you money. They owe you a decent loaner which I assume they have provided. If not scream ****** murder.

Then if another serious issue arises think about pursuing a buy back, trading off, or selling it.

I6, not V6.

Electrical system failures are much higher than industry average for the new 2025 trucks. They switched over the electrical architecture from 2024 and there are definitely still bugs in the system, both hardware and software. Hardware problems are usually due to cost cutting to the point the harnesses are tight as banjo strings (D i c k ' s hat band gets censored here) and tug at the connectors causing issues. Software glitches are just that.

Hardware, you'll probably be back on the road once they get parts. Software, depends if the OEM has a fix yet or not. One of my local service advisors said he had trucks sitting for months waiting for Stellantis to figure out the issue and get a fix for it.

Good luck.
