Like the title says. I have a 2015 2500 crew cab long bed. I'm looking at running boards but having a hard time finding wheel to wheel versions. I would also love some pics of the wheel to wheel on a long bed like my truck.

So please post any pics you have of a crew cab long bed with wheel to wheel running boards and let me know what brand and where to buy...

Thanks!!

Google brings up a lot of pics and options. You’re probably not going to have too many people on here with that setup though you may find a few.

Why do people look at us long bed owners like were crazy? I looked long & far for a long bed 2500 HD I could afford that wasn't 1300+ miles away! I'm real fussy about putting OEM parts on my baby! So I have a part numbers for a set of genuine 2019/2020 RAM chrome wheel to wheel factory running boards ( left 6836681AA, right 68361680AA, r-bd mtg kit 68193128AB) These are the same ones that come on the trucks from the factory. I doubt they would fit but this may help you zero in on ones that will fit your truck.

Good luck

Yeah my last truck was a 99 F-250 short bed. I'm in construction and once i have my fuel tank for our equipment and the tool box behind that it left me with very very little room in the bed for other things... So for that reason alone i went long bed this time.. It will take some getting used to when it comes to parking it ha ha but its worth it for me..

Thanks for the part numbers btw

I have never owned a pickup that wasn't a long bed. Even for towing a ball pull trailer the long bed does a much better job and with a gooseneck they are definitely superior. As far as I am concerned a short box is nothing more than a grocery getter, but then most people never work their trucks so the shorter box is not an issue.

I ordered my 2500 with the factory power running boards. When it gets here I too am going to need to find a set of boards that run from the back of the cab to the rear wheel arch because these new trucks are so tall I can't reach the bottom of the box standing on the ground. Be interested to see what everyone posts.

Don't feel bad about having the long bed. I myself am a working man and have to have at a minimum a 6.4' bed. I was in a similar predicament regarding running boards. I ended up getting OEMs for my CC 6.4' 1500. I can't wait to get them. When they get here, I'll post some pics for ya.

8' beds are what separate the men from the boys. ;)

Did you order the bed package which includes the old man step? I did and it is great!

Hello Jeron, get the OEM boards, talk about beefy. Simple to install. In the pic the smaller bar is at most a 4 year old rusted out lund.

I have the factory wheel to wheel on my 14 CCLB. Bought the truck used and they came with, I like them a lot. Also have the old man step in the rear bumper and I use it all the time.20210626_200313_HDR.jpg20210626_200350.jpg20210626_200331.jpg

I did order the old man step, cause I am an old man. ;) Issue is, the truck will have a cap on it with side windows on passenger and drivers side that open like a work door. I need to be able to stand on a side board to be able to reach in that side window and get stuff that is in the bed.
