I've read that since they began putting side curtain airbags above the rear doors, they had to relocate the coat hooks to the back which totally negates both of my clothes bars that I used in my previous truck. If so, that'd mean no go on above-door grab handles.
There is another thread here buried pretty deep by now of someone who built a floor-standing PVC frame that stretched from door to door that they used for hanging clothes.
I wondered if I could use a couple of cargo straps from coat hanger to grab handle on the B pillar with a carabiner in between that I could hang my clothes bar to. It'd probably sag too much unless I tightened the straps so tight that it pulled the coat hangers out.
