I have a 2020 Ram 2500 Tradesman and would like to replace the factory shocks with ones that would give me more stability when towing. Any thoughts.

Airbags, I don’t think shocks will help with that very much.

Yeah beefier springs or airbags. Springs will make your ride ever firmer, you're going to feel the bumps in the road. Airbags give you more control over stiffness, more air to haul less air for cruising.

I recently had a set of Air-Lift 7500XL air bags installed and they provide a bit more stability when towing the 5th Wheel. Air bags provide stability, but do not increase payload. They also make the ride slightly smoother in many cases.

This will also greatly cut down on the hop to the side the 2500's like to do when going over bumps.

Billsteins are a HUGE improvement over the stock Ram shocks in ride and handling. Has been true since the Gen2s onward. I ordered my new truck with the off road package specifically to get them on the 2500. Once you try those you can decide if you want to add air bags but either way, you will be VERY happy you switched to Billstein shocks.
