My 2006 hemi Ram 1500. I took a 3000 mile round trip over the extended weekend moving my oldest son from K State to Delaware. A pretty heavy load, as he had twice as much junk as I anticipated. Definitely more than the weight of towing a muscle car. Driving interstate including the Appalachian mountain range I got 12.9 mpg running 71-75 mph where appropriate, using tow haul and OD Off and 2 in the mountains as needed. Never had to drop to 1. I thought this was pretty reasonable. It got 14.6 mpg empty on the way home. Pretty heavy duty trailer running 75-80mph. AC on. Definitely has more power than my old Silverado and handles better. I think I am happy with my new to me Dodge.
