Hi guys, just purchased a 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Trying to decide what size tires to go with, and wanted to get some experienced opinions. The truck has the off road package, which seems to sit up a little higher than a stock 2500. The tire shop says the 35x12.5x18 will fit fine with no mods. I am going to leave the stock rims on for now. I was thinking of doing a 1.5 to 2 inch leveling kit for the front down the road as well. Leaning towards the BF Goodrich all terrains. Most of my driving is country roads doing about 55-65 mph, with the occasional expressway trip at 70-75 mph. I also pull my salmon boat during the summer. The salmon boat is pretty light at about 3500lbs. I’m basically just looking to make the truck a little more beefy, and need some good all around tires as I drive in a lot of snow and backwoods roads. I’m having a hard time deciding between a 35 or a 33 inch tire. I know mpg,s will suffer a little more with the 35, but wanting to know if anyone has any advice on deciding which ones to go with? Thanks!
